One of my all-time favorite albums! I would zone out to this when I was in college (20+ years ago). Great to have this live set. I wasn't able to make any of the stops, so this is nice to have.
Favorite track: Explain - Live at Saint Mark's.
Cathedrals is a unique and refreshing show series put on by Abbey Arts in Seattle Washington. Laura Gibson and Tomo Nakayama opened the show. Saint Mark's Cathedral is a beautiful old church with huge natural reverb which makes for an epic sound and experience.

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer

Habibi's garage minimalism has a bit of post-punk, bubblegum, and indie in its DNA, but remains something entirely, coolly their own. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 30, 2024

Sludge, Shoegaze, Atmospheric, Heavy Metal, Alt-metal, you name it. This album has it all, and it is perfect. It came out during a rough time period of my life and others lives too. It's been the soundtrack for all of my pain. Thank you Hum tawper
